The bottom of the M3 joins the M27 . At Junction 14, join the M27 West towards Bournemouth.
After 8 miles, the M27 becomes the A31 – continue along the A31 for a further 8 miles towards Bournemouth/Ringwood.
At Picketts Post, before the Shell garage, take the slip road towards Burley.
Continue thought Burley Street, into the centre of Burley and turn right by the Burley Inn, towards Bransgore
Approaching Thorney Hill you’ll ascend a hill – turn right at the brow of the hill – signpost Avon Tyrrell
The entrance to Avon Tyrrell is 500yards on the right.
Leave Lyndhurst on the A35 heading towards Christchurch.
Shortly after the Bolderwood Arboretum Ornamental Drive, take the Right turn towards Burley.
Following a very steep decent into the centre of Burley, turn left towards Bransgore, before the Burley Inn,
Approaching Thorney Hill you’ll ascend a hill – turn right at the brow of the hill – signpost Avon Tyrrell
The entrance to Avon Tyrrell is 500yards on the right.
From the Spur Road (A338) take the A31 towards Southampton.
At Picketts Post, after leaving Ringwood and ascending Poulner Hill, take the slip road to Burley and the Shell petrol station.
On the slip road, go past the Shell petrol station on your left, and take a sharp right turn underneath the A31, as sign post.
Continue thought Burley Street, into the centre of Burley and turn right, towards Bransgore, by the Burley Inn
Approaching Thorney Hill you’ll ascend a hill – turn right at the brow of the hill – signpost Avon Tyrrell

From the A35, take Stony Lane (B3347) towards Burton and Winkton.
At Winkton, immediately before The Fishermans Haunt, take the Burley Road towards Bransgore.
After Bransgore, you’ll pass through Thorney Hill - turn left – signpost Avon Tyrrell
The entrance to Avon Tyrrell is 500yards on the right.
Christchurch is the nearest railway station to Avon Tyrrell.
A taxi fare booked in advance will cost approx. £16 one way.
